Buddha Amitayus Retreat
Attaining long life, merit and wisdom
Fri 16th Feb to Sun 18th Feb
Amitayus is the Buddha of long life, merit and wisdom. By engaging in Amitayus practice we can develop these qualities for ourself and on behalf of others. Long life, merit and wisdom are essential for our spiritual development so that we can attain the supreme happiness of enlightenment.
This retreat is suitable for everyone. It is the perfect way to build on the blessings of receiving Amitayus empowerment if you attended our New Year course. You do not need to attend all sessions to take part in the retreat but we recommend that you attend the introduction to the retreat on Friday evening.
There will be three retreat sessions each day consisting of chanted prayers and silent periods for meditation.
