Tara IKRC Booking Terms & Conditions

General Booking Info

  • Links to online classes/courses/retreats are only intended for those who have registered and should not be shared.
  • Bookings with accommodation must be done 48hrs in advance of attending a course or retreat.
  • Recordings are offered only for courses, we do not offer recordings for individual classes or for retreats.
    *You must either have attended in-person, or booked and received the links for an online course. Audio recordings should not be shared or in any way distributed.
  • Deposits – In-person courses and retreats carry a 25% non-refundable and non-transferable fee.
  • Balance (in-person courses and retreats) must be paid at least 24 hours before arrival or start of the course/retreat.
  • During your visit to Tara IKRC you are requested to please refrain from eating meat, smoking (incl. electronic cigarettes), taking intoxicants and drinking alcohol in the building and in the grounds.
  • Pets –  We are unable to accepts pets except guide or other assistance dogs.
  • Camping, caravans, campervans and mobile homes are not accepted on site as we do not have a license.

Bookings with Accommodation

  • A negative Covid lateral flow test is required within 24hrs of arrival.
  • A confirmation of good health sheet must be signed upon arrival.
  • The course or retreat price includes accommodation, meals & education fee.
  • Meals are vegetarian or vegan only, we regret we are unable to cater for individual dietary needs.
  • Room allocation is done upon a first come first served basis.
  • Friends of Tara monthly paying members get a 35% discount on all bookings with accommodation.
  • The 2-bed apartment with kitchen and a small office has a maximum occupancy of 2 people.
  • Accommodation in the Barn Retreat has a shared kitchen, intended only for people staying there.
  • The twin ensuite room has a maximum occupancy of 2 people but can be booked as a single occupancy, no discount is given for single occupancy.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a booking or ask anyone found to cause disruption to leave.

In-person Bookings with no Accommodation

  • Meals are not included in bookings with no accommodation.
  • A lounge with tea and coffee facility is available but not the use of a kitchen.
  • Camping, caravans, campervans and mobile homes are not accepted on site as we do not have a license.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a booking or ask anyone found to cause disruption to leave.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation of a booking must be made in writing to bookings@tarakmc.org
  • All deposits are non-refundable
  • Cancellations more than 1 week before the event will be fully refunded minus non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations 1 week before the event will be refunded 50% minus non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations less than 24hrs before the event are non refundable and non transferable.
    *Exceptions to the above Cancellation Policy are discretionary.
