Tara KMC offers Post Festival Retreats after the International Spring and Summer Festivals. Taught by senior Kadampa Teachers these special retreats provide the ideal opportunity to take the teachings we have received to heart and to deepen our understanding and familiarity with the practice.
For 2019 we are delighted to welcome two internationally renowned teachers to guide our Post Festival Retreats.
It is not necessary to have attended the International Festivals in order to attend these Post Festival Retreats. Everyone is welcome.

We all carry the seeds of negativity within our minds. These are the principal causes of all our mental and physical problems. Buddha explained how we can remove all traces of negative karma from our minds through the powerful practice of Vajrasattva, the Buddha of purification.
In this guided retreat Gen Rigpa will lead us through all the essential practices explained during the International Spring Festival. Through Vajrasattva practice we can heal our mind, free ourselves from negative habits and realise our inner potential.

Post Summer Festival Retreat: Healing our mind; Transforming our world
with Gen Kelsang Dornying, Resident Teacher of KMC Australia and KMC Melbourne
Gen Dornying will share the essence of the teachings given at the International Summer Festival and guide meditations based on Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s book The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra. This is a precious opportunity to engage in the profound and world-transforming practice of Mahamudra, the very essence of all Buddha’s teachings of Sutra and Tantra.
We are delighted to welcome Gen Dornying back to Tara KMC to lead this retreat. He is much loved for his insightful and powerful presentation of Buddha’s teachings.
