This class is offered as in-person and live stream.
New series based on the book Mirror of Dharma with Additions – How To Find The Real Meaning of Human Life
Part Two: Training In Meditation ~ Meditation of a Person of Initial Scope
In general, the definition of meditation is a mind that is single-pointedly focused on a virtuous object and whose function is to make the mind peaceful and calm. When our mind is not peaceful we are not happy, even if our external conditions are excellent. We can understand this through our own experience.
This class includes guided meditations and a practical talk about integrating positive insights into daily life. Each class will begin with a breathing meditation to settle the mind and then a talk exploring the topic of the week. This will be followed by a concluding meditation to help us take the understandings to heart.
Suitable for Beginners. Everyone is welcome.
