This Drop-in class includes guided meditations and a practical talk about integrating positive insights into daily life. Each class will begin with a breathing meditation to settle the mind and then a talk exploring the topic of the week. This will be followed by a concluding meditation to help us take the understandings to heart. There is an and an opportunity for discussion and to ask questions after the class. Everyone is welcome, no previous experience is necessary. Seating is on chairs and no special clothing is required.

We often start the new year with good resolutions – and quickly find them difficult to maintain. This is because very few of our resolutions address the root of our human condition. In these series of talks we will explore Buddha’s timeless wisdom on how to maintain a positive, healthy mental state that makes ourself and others happy. Learn how to create a whole new outlook for life – one rooted in wisdom that helps us make real, lasting change that sustains us throughout the year.
These series of classes are a great place to learn to meditate. The classes will be based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book Modern Buddhism.
