The Meditation Toolkit
Thursdays: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th November & 5th December.
This series of classes will explore the nuts and bolts of what exactly meditation is and how we can then apply it in daily life. The meditations and talks will be based on the book How to Understand the Mind, and explore five main ways to begin and enhance our practice.
Suitable for beginners and everyone welcome, whether you are completely new to meditation or have been meditating for a period of time, it’s never too late to refresh and upgrade your practice.
The meditations are taught according to Kadampa Buddhism. The instructions given are scientific methods to improve our human nature. Everyone needs to be good-natured with a good heart, because in this way we can solve our own problems as well as those of others, and we can make our human life meaningful.
